General Summary:

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong work ethic and reliable attendance
- A role model who demonstrates respect for the job and the school community
- Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills with strong communication and customer service skills
- Willingness to support team efforts and assist where needed. Physical ability to lift and carry heavy boxes up to 50 pounds
Essential Job Functions:
- Ability to make decisions in compliance with State and USDA regulations
- Familiarity with County Health Department regulations. ServSafe Certification (preferred or willingness to obtain)
- Proficiency in food preparation, service, and cleanup duties
- Ability to operate a computerized cash register, handle money, and make accurate change
- Basic computer skills, including Google Docs, Google Sheets, Excel, and Word
Other Job Responsibilities:
- Other duties as assigned by the Building Food Service Manager or Food Service Director
Terms of Employment:
- As described in the Northview Public Schools Food Service contractual agreement.
- Work Hours: 10:45 am - 1 pm Monday -Friday following the school calendar
Evaluation:
- Annual evaluation performed by the Food Service Director using the evaluation rubric as identified in the Food Service contractual agreement.
